What the party still has in front of it, and what it has already closed, written from what they know.

Faun wine

Updated
Session XI

Vivian said the wine-like sap of the trees in the Fauns' Grove, west of town, might drop the dragon. One sip can knock a mortal unconscious.

Fauns frequent the grove and do not take kindly to anyone stealing their drink.

The party met Lilt and Cask in the grove. Cask accepted Grimni's Witness Ring as a gift with sentimental value and gave them a bottle of the wine. As the fauns left, Lilt played a calming lullaby. Mono and Brother Dirk fell asleep.

Ingrid's visitor

Updated
Session XI

Father William called Ingrid a pagan witch in a coven with Vivian. The party met her. Nothing matched a coven. She and Vivian trade reagents.

On the night they brought Zach back, a hooded figure left from behind her house and vanished into town. Dougal and Mono went to the house. The shop was dark. No one answered. Dougal left 3 gp and a letter for Squints at the Fox, asking him to watch her in the evenings.

Squints reported that Ingrid was the hooded figure and that she had been watching Warwick at his smithy. She left paper and flowers at his doorstep. Mono found part of a burned note inside the smithy: “I left the flowers, they are only flowers... I left the little...”

The dragon of Brandonsford

Updated
Session XI

A dragon has penned Brandonsford. Reeve Eric posted a thousand gold for whoever slays it.

George, the only hunter who came back, said it was more fat alligator than winged barn, poison on its teeth, black scales everywhere except the eyes and mouth. Those unscaled spots, he thought, might be its weakness.

Gill's sons Tad and Zach went out with a pig and a net. The scuffle wrecked the mill. The dragon carried Zach off. The party found him in the shallows by the Gustos bridge, his left leg gone above the knee. Tad made it back to town.

They reached the cave west of the dwarves' mine, believed the dragon lay in there, and turned back.

The party obtained a bottle of wine from the Fauns' Grove. They sought it as a way to bring the dragon down unconscious.

The fey hunt

Updated
Session XI

Ingrid said fairies were encroaching on the forest. Vivian could help.

On the trail to the mine a golden fox took Dougal's dried meat and went east. Elven hunters and black fae hounds asked after it. Dougal told them the fox went west six hours ago. The speaker promised to hunt the party down if they were lying.

Sprites said they were being hunted, and that they were all going to die. Dirk grew donkey ears. They ran for Brandonsford. Finnian the leprechaun vanished when the hounds closed. The gate shut in front of the wolves' snouts.

They did not take Lives of the Saints on the trip north. Dougal regretted that.

The hunters followed the party to Brandonsford. At the gate, the hounds said the west was empty and that the party smelled like the fox. Dougal read from Lives of the Saints, but the elf only grew furious. Made to choose between hunters and prey, the party agreed to join the hunt in eight days.

Warwick's iron

Updated
Session XI

The party found fourteen iron ingots in a scorched crate at the dwarves' mine. Warwick told them he was running short of iron and that the dragon had kept him from checking on the dwarves.

The party promised to bring the iron back. In exchange, Warwick would craft a device that Hilda could attach to the stump of her arm to hold her shield.

Brol

Updated
Session X

A dwarf family at the foot of the mountains stopped coming to town.

Vivian was fond of Grimni, the eldest, and last saw him after they found gold in the mines. She sent herbs for his joints.

The party found the mine burned and collapsed. They buried the family. Brol's pick was by the hearth. His body was not among the dead.

Grimni's ghost, speaking through the Witness Ring, said Brol killed him by collapsing the mine, and had gone west to the cave where the brothers found treasure. He asked that Brol be shown mercy. He was not being himself.

The holy sword

Updated
Session IX

Father William sent Brother Dirk to Sir Brandon's barrow for the magic sword that once killed a dragon.

The party went into the mound, answered the maiden (piety, wisdom, duty, and valor), and took the holy sword from Brandon's sarcophagus.

The mosaics show Brandon driving the blade through the dragon's mouth.

Dirk would not let it out of his sight.

Dougal, Mono, and Albrys brought it back to Brandonsford, showed it to Godric, and stored it in their room at the manor.

The sleeping giant

Session V

Town rumor spoke of a man-eating giant in the woods.

The party found him asleep in a gigantic cottage, freed Brother Dirk from a sack, and left without waking him. Squints cut a golden necklace from the giant's neck.

Junior in the mound

Updated
Session II

Junior, Mother Greenteeth's adopted river troll son, was in his rebellious phase. Ma had taken his knife and would not let him leave the lodge. They gave the knife back. He helped kill the albino beaver. That was him sticking it up to Ma, not killing her.

They killed Ma in the same fight. He did not see it.

Freya was uneasy that he would be the sole inhabitant of the mound.

Mother Greenteeth

Updated
Session II

Pink ooze came down the Gustos. Bonnyville went silent.

Townsfolk from Backwater went upriver, found the village made into a dam, and entered the hag's mound. They ambushed Mother Greenteeth while Junior fought the albino beaver, killed her, toppled her cauldron of pink chaos ooze, and fled with her spoon.

The grave island

Updated
Session I

A single gravestone sits on a hilly island in the Gustos. They left it unperturbed on the way up.

On the way down, Dougal climbed to it and a wraith rose. He ran. Albrys took a golden locket from the old canoe.
